| GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
Severance Hall is committed to making its performances and facilities accessible to all patrons. The following information about Severance Hall is provided to assist patrons with disabilities. For additional information, or if you have questions, please contact the House Manager at (216) 231-7425.
Accessible Seating Severance Hall Ticket Office staff is experienced in assisting patrons with finding seating that meets their specific needs. Wheelchair seating is available on the Orchestra Level, the Box Level, in the Dress Circle, and in Reinberger Chamber Hall. For patrons who prefer to transfer from a wheelchair, seats with removable arms are available on the Orchestra Level in the main hall. Please communicate your seating requirements when ordering your tickets through the Severance Hall Ticket Office at (216) 231-1111 or online at clevelandorchestra.com.
Wheelchair Transport Severance Hall provides courtesy wheelchairs to patrons who need assistance getting to their seats. For most performances, a door attendant is available to help. Please reserve a wheelchair prior to your arrival by calling the House Manager at (216) 231-7425.
Accessible Parking Prior to concerts, handicapped parking is available on Level One of the Campus Center Garage, adjacent to Severance Hall on East Boulevard. Handicapped parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served-- basis for vehicles displaying a handicapped parking hangtag or license plate. Early arrival is encouraged.
Signage Way finding signage is placed throughout Severance Hall. These signs are also in Braille.
Elevator Service Elevator service is available throughout the building. Severance Hall’s historic patron elevators are available for all performances. These elevators are operated by a Severance Hall staff member and allow access to all levels of seating. Self operated elevators run from the garage level to the street level.
Large Print Programs Large print program notes are available from the ushers for all Cleveland Orchestra performances.
Assistive Listening Devices Amplification devices are available without charge for all performances in the main hall. You will be required to provide a driver’s license or ID card that will be held until return of the equipment. Please see the House Manager or Head Usher, or make arrangements prior to your arrival by calling (216) 231-7425.
Accessible Restrooms All Smith Lobby restrooms are fully accessible. In addition, private, family handicapped-accessible restrooms are located in both the Smith and Dress Circle Lobbies.
Drinking Fountains Accessible drinking fountains are located at the entrance to restrooms in the Smith Lobby.
TTY TTY line access is available at the public pay telephone located in the Security Office by the garage entrance.
Service Animals Service animals are welcome in Severance Hall. Please notify the Ticket Office when purchasing tickets.
Emergency In the event of an emergency evacuation, a trained member of the Severance Hall staff will assist you.
